Camp ended today! It was sad. THe kids were up til like 3 or 4am which means we were up to 3 or 4am as well. And with wake up at 6am, and the kids leaving from 7am to noon, and then cleaning bunks and then leaving ourselves, it was a fucker of a day.
I'm in a hotel on 43rd Street, right near Time Square. In the lobby using the computers, it's about 11pm or so. I've got a room with 3 friends, and we're staying here tonight & tomorrow night. Tomorrow we're doing all the tourist things we can fit into a day. Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Ground Zero, lots lots more. Time Square at night. Went out in it tonight. It's literally a 30 second walk away. It's so amazing. It's lit up like day light and there's so much crap going on. We're gonna hit the Ripley's Believe It or Not place. And Madame Tusaud's. And everything!
It's so weird that I'm not going to see all the friends I've made at camp. It's so weird that I'm not going to have to wake up 16 kids at 7:15am. It's so AWESOME that I don't have a curfew anymore! And air-conditioning! God bless air-conditioning. It's been a very mixed up day.
I'm just about all in. I can't wait to go crash in the king sized bed. Oh god that will be awesome. I'm sharing with someone but it will still be awesome.
Not sure what I'm doing the day after tomorrow, as the people I'm with right now are going to Florida. I don't really want to go to Florida. But, I don't REALLY want to travel alone. I will, though. heh.
Anyways, I'm really tired. I need like, a whole day on here. I need to plan a...plan...to talk about everything in order and stuff.
